On Sunday, August 19th  Alexander “ALBEE” Harris went to Glen Helen Raceway to make his pro motocross debut and suffered an extremely serious neck and spinal cord injury. The medics at the track worked carefully and diligently to help Alexander get the medical care he needed before being transported to Loma Linda University hospital. While at Loma Linda, the hospital staff confirmed that Alexander’s liver was lacerated, his neck was broken in multiple places, and at one of the breaks fractured bones were putting pressure on his spinal cord, causing loss of movement throughout his body. Alexander is 17 and is supposed to start his senior year of high school at Claremont High on Wednesday. Alexander is also a member of the Claremont high mountain bike team and a wonderful student. He is the youngest of two kids to Ken and Peggy Harris and is an awesome person. We ask our families, friends, and the motocross community to keep Alexander in your thoughts and prayers; send him well wishes and let him know you’re thinking about him. We are deeply saddened by this tragic accident and our thoughts and prayers are with Alexander, his sister and his parents. Supporters of Alexander have set up a GO FUND ME page to help with medical expenses and are asking friends, family, the motocross community, and anyone willing and able to join our efforts. Any donations or help you can offer, in terms of sharing this link to spread word about Alexander’s accident and help him on his road to recovery, would be greatly appreciated
